This news item once again reminds us that all humans belong to one race--we're all descendants of Adam. The Human Genome Project confirmed this in 2000. Yes, the science of genetics confirms there's only one human race.

Note the article refers to the skin "tones" of these twins. And this is the correct way of describing their skin as they have different shades because all humans have the same basic skin color brown. This is due to the main skin pigment being melanin, a brown pigment. All humans are shades of brown from dark to light. It all depends on the gene combinations for the amount of melanin produced in our skin.

Yet in the article they also refer to them as "black" and "white." But no one is truly black or white, we are all shades of brown.

Also the article calls them "bi-racial twins." But they are not "bi-racial" as all humans belong to one race. There are no bi-racial people or bi-racial marriages.

Such dark and light twins are not uncommon. There have been many similar examples from around the world.

Remember, "“And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,” (Acts 17:26).
