So happy to be Dr. Cooper!!!!! I am so blessed to just have successfully defended my dissertation. Thank you to everyone for your support along the way! God is good!
There are those people in life who always have your back. David Ellis, and Davis, thanks for being two of those people. Ellis, thanks for swinging by on my last day with kids. Looking forward to our double date!
I am so excited to share my next endeavor. After 6 incredible years as the principal at Nimitz Middle School, I will be taking on a new role. I was officially named the Director of Human Resources for Wimberley ISD last night! Grateful for my time at NEISD!
Following an appointment today, I had lunch with this kiddo. I was his teacher in middle school. This kid taught me patience, and I’m so proud of the man he has become! Teachers, don’t doubt the seeds you plant! You may not see the results for years down the road!
Yes! Just got a clean bill of health from my surgeon! Going to spend the next few weeks building up my endurance, but I am so grateful for the prayers & well wishes that got me here. More importantly, I found out that my recipient is doing fantastic! God is good! #shareyourspare
Operation Donate a Kidney is a success! The team at @UnivTransplant has simply been the best. Recovery is going to be a slow process, but it has been so worth it to save a life. Reach out to me if this is something you’ve ever considered. It’s a life-changing experience!
One perk of being a donor at @UnivTransplant is that you get to pick the first two songs played in the operating room. My middle schoolers chose them for me. And they are….🤣😂🤣 @nimitzms_neisd
One of my favorite things about being a principal is building relationships with the local businesses. Gary and I were blessed to worship with Pastor Ed and his wife, Ricky, from the local church across from Nimitz tonight. They have been so good to me and my Seahawks.
We’ve started a new thing at Nimitz. Every other week I pick a teacher to start a rumor for a staff dress up day. Then on Friday we all dress up and freak out the students! It’s awesome! This week’s rumor was “Tacky Tourist Day!”
So looking forward to seeing everyone at the Region 20 TASSP meeting tomorrow night at Churchill High School at 6:00! You don’t want to miss it! @TASSP1@bloomer_sa
