So @composercast has now officially moved over to @anchor, saving me £10 a month on hosting fees. With Anchor I can pick up my phone and record a quick episode when ever I like. But for now, the podcast is on hold. Thank you to everyone who listened!
It will be about video game music, knowledge sharing, and creativity, produced to a professional standard.”
Thanks to @SarahRheaWerner for outlining the steps on writing a podcast mission statement. 3/3
“I am creating ComposerCast to be where creatives can talk about their work and share their knowledge.I will build a community of like-minded listeners, including composers and fans of video game music, who will be able to interact and contribute to the podcast. 2/3
Now the sound dampening is up in the studio, I’m thinking about starting up the podcast again. Video game composers, what’s one thing you know now that wish you knew when you started out? Leave a voice message and be featured on @composercast 🎙

"I don't ever worry about emulating other acts because if you're having fun then your personality an aesthetic is always come through no matter what you're trying to do"
Listen to more of composer Elliot Callighan on episode 39 of the podcast.

I built a special #relativity VR simulation for @oculus Quest, where the speed of light c is much lower than usual. You can experience space contraction, time dilation and light Doppler effect as you move. 1/n

Last week’s view from the usual camera position
of my YouTube series, Audio Ark. Complete studio overhaul!
Yes, I know it’s been a while since I posted anything…thanks to everyone for all the support and patience, not to mention encouragement, inqueries and requests!
Playing with #TangibleUI with Quest. I wanted to imagine what if you could define your own interactive touchable surfaces... really suited for #AR actually. Ideally you would just touch any surface where you'd like to pin content or UI.
Question time:❓
What are the 3 Qs (and please only 3) that you would most like to ask your fave #composer, #musicproducer or #musician?
We're looking for the top 3 here, so it's ok to say the same things. We may use them if we bump into someone interesting...😉😉
@MusicWeeklies 1. How do you avoid burnout, especially when there's crunch?
2. What's the first step you do when somebody hires you to compose for a game?
3. Do you write in a daw, in notation or on an instrument first?
Good morning everyone. It's a new week and we have a new episode out! We had the pleasure of chatting with Elliot Callighan about his music on the #Trackmania game and his work at @UnlockAudio.

I'd rather people join our Discord channel and interact with us there rather than putting things behind a paywall. If you'd like to join the ComposerCast channel, you can use this link https://t.co/Rj3Hooz2vQ
This is @willhelliwell1 here (because Lloyd still isn't on Twitter 😜) I think it's time to shut down the Patreon page. We had a good go but for me, it's just an extra thing to worry about.
