@dieworkwear@natemcgrady I do wonder if it could be related to the fabric. Perhaps back when towel technology was dawning the tight weave was to help prevent the towel from unraveling, and now it's just a fashion ghost of utility.

@lilo623@KTLA@CommunityNotes May be worth noting while significantly larger this graphic may be slightly misleading since the Palisades Fire also involves significant area without structures. I'm seeing approximately 1,000 (?) structures for Palisades vs. 17,000 for the Great Chicago Fire
