Right now only 4.9% of shares are in SpaceX's free float ... here is the expected timeline for that to get up to 100%:

2026:

Aug 8: 11.8% (11.8% of the total share float will be eligble to trade on this day)
Aug 20: 15.2%
Sep 9: 17.7%
Sep 24: 20.1%
Oct 9: 22.6%
Oct 24: 25.1%
Dec 8: 40.0%

2027: Enter in at 40% of the free float available to be traded getting up to 50.8% by June 12th

Then on June 12, 2027, Elon's 46.1% stake becomes eligible.

Every SpaceX share will be availble to be traded by the end of 2027
