@IsaacAzout What kills me is there is really tangible proof of these “random” pitch count numbers have a direct nexus to further arm injuries. It’s like they just chose a random number and boom that was it. So many stick to them and still get injured- it’s mind blowing.

@BryGuyGautier@MrAzSports Like the goal isn’t always to win. It’s to provide entertainment. Winning is but so is other avenues. That’s what the NBA doesn’t get with load management. It’s paying top dollar to watch the understudy.
@BryGuyGautier@MrAzSports Some part of sports and sports reporting is a lack of understanding that this is entertainment. It’s entertainment and compelling bc of the environment created..but it’s still entertainment.
@halleygator@Huckabee2023 I think this is the better conversation. They don’t have to be full scale flops but most of these guys will end up as just solid long term major leaguers who make a few all star teams but never reach generational hall of famer. Just look at all the MVPs the last 25 years
@IANdrewDiceClay I loved when in the very beginning he throws Rock to the ground and thr crowd goes nuts. He legit looks at the ground in disbelief of their reaction. It’s, dare I say, touching.
@UnderdogNBA I wonder if the teams are giving playoff vouchers for those with tickets today. It’s like the league forgot it’s an entertainment product.
