It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my longtime best friend, Hazo (@StillHazoDDD).

As of right now, the cause of his death is still unknown, though it is presumed to have been a heart-related issue.

I've known Hazo for a very long time. Back when my account only had around 500 - 600 followers, he was one of the first people to reach out and support me. In many ways, I owe this account to him.

To me, he was never just another user on the internet. He was a brother.

He was always there whenever I was feeling down or found myself caught in another controversy. No matter what happened, I knew I could count on him.

One of my last memories with him was when he told me he hoped I would make the MH-60 Black Hawk someday. As a helicopter mechanic, he joked that he'd finally be able to say, "I've been inside her."

I laughed, and I promised him I would.

Yet... now he's so far away, somewhere I can no longer reach.

I wish you didn't have to leave so soon, Hazo. There are still so many things I wanted to tell you, to show you, and to share with you. I made you that promise, and now I can't keep it.

I know I've said "I wish" far too many times, but right now, that's all I can think about. I just wish I could have one more moment with you, if only to tell you how much you meant to me and that you truly were my best friend.

Rest in peace, Hazo. (1998-2026)

Perhaps in the next life, you and I will meet again, and we can truly be brothers.

People tend to forget that it was not the Russians alone that defeated Nazi Germany, but people from all over the Soviet Union.

Between 8 to 11 million Red Army soldiers died during WW2, however millions of them were not ethnic Russians.

The composition of the Red Army during WW2 was made up of many nationalities.

Some 6 million Ukrainian were the biggest group by far, half of which died during the war.

There were also millions of Belorussians, hundreds of thousands of Poles and whole divisions made up from Georgians, Latvian, Azerbaijanis, Lithuanian, Armenians, Tajik, Uzbek, Kirgiz and Kazakh soldiers.

Modern day Russia's propaganda does all it can to rewrite history of WW2 and to make people forget about the millions of non Russians Red Army soldiers who paid the highest price to defeat Nazi Germany.
