I'm proud to say that my campaign for Congress is funded by working class people, for working class people.
I will never take a dime from AIPAC, pro-war billionaires, or big real estate. The Bronx deserves better.

"A whole civilization will die tonight".
Trump just gave a deadline for a genocide, backed by a war machine that both parties built and neither will stop.
Congress is still on vacation.
We need leaders who will clearly say: Money for the people's needs, not genocide.
New merch just dropped—and every order helps us reach hundreds of thousands in NY-15.
Rep socialism and a better future for the Bronx, not the billionaires. 🧡

Trump wants $200B for war with Iran. The people want $200B for fully funded schools, housing, and hospitals, in the Bronx and beyond.
Honored to speak at the North Bronx Islamic Center this Eid, to let the community know where I stand—and how I'll fight with them in Congress.
🌙 Eid Mubarak! I was honored to be invited to speak at the North Bronx Islamic Center.
These are the moments I cherish most: building power together to thrive, not just survive, and standing in solidarity with all those crushed by the war machine, from the Bronx to Gaza to Iran.
ICE has $85B to wreak havoc on the lives of Bronx students like Dylan Contreras.
With $85B, we could fully repair NYCHA, staff our hospitals, and fund our schools.
Defund and abolish ICE.
Any politician who asks for less has already chosen a side—and it's not ours.
Dylan Contreras, a Bronx high schooler, was just freed after 10 months in ICE detention. He could have been one of my students.
My students are watching who shows up for them. They deserve leaders who will say it plainly: defund and abolish ICE.
@moviefriday12@room4stillness@duj4a Isntreals' right to exist as "democratic" state with "equal rights" is still settler colonialism and erases palestine. Examples of these democratic settler colonies are the USA, Canada, South Africa etc. So you can get out of here with your liberal zionist bs.
Michael Parenti (1933-2026) died today. He has, as his son Christian said, 'gone to the Great Lecture Hall in the Sky'. A socialist from early into his life till the very end, Michael Parenti wrote in a feisty way and spoke bluntly the truths that were not always easy to digest in a wretched capitalist system. He was a fierce critic of imperialist wars and suffered the consequences of this because he could keep and then hold academic jobs even in liberal states such as Vermont.
The toughest test for all of us came when the USSR collapsed, and it was in this period that Michael Parenti played an important role in the Battle of Ideas, fighting the reactionary Western media and the intellectual cowardice of his peers. His books on Yugoslavia's destruction earned him terrible attacks, which he brushed off as the necessary price you pay in this struggle. In the midst of it all, Michael wrote 'Blackshirts and Reds: Rational Fascism and the Overthrow of Communism' (1997), a rebuttal to the anti-Marxist and anti-Communist blather that had begun to infect the world. The book remains an essential tool to fight against the ridiculous anti-communist historiography that demeans the great achievements of the workers' movements.
He spent the last period of his life within himself, which was a loss to the rest of us, and now his departure leaves us without that anchor which he provided.
Michael Parenti. Comrade. Our Red Flag dips in your honour.
Extending enormous gratitude to the hundreds of people who attended my official campaign launch yesterday.
Through our collective power, we sent a clear message last night to the political establishment and its skeptics alike: the Bronx is ready for socialism.
A statement from your local progressive politicians office:
Warsaw Ghetto Uprising: “On April 19, 1943, Jewish fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto carried out a horrific war crime, killing several German soldiers and destroying Nazi property. I mourn these lives and pray for every family torn apart by this violence.
In the aftermath, the Nazi government was forced to respond, launching a military campaign that leveled the ghetto and killed over 50,000 Jews. Every day in Warsaw became a place where grief itself ran out of language.”
***
Haitian Revolution: “In August 1791, enslaved Africans in Saint-Domingue carried out a horrific war crime, killing hundreds of French colonists and burning plantations. I mourn these lives and pray for the families who suffered in those attacks.
In the aftermath, French forces launched a brutal military campaign to restore order, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands of Black people. The island descended into chaos and grief.”
***
Nat Turner’s Rebellion: “On August 21, 1831, enslaved people in Virginia carried out a horrific war crime, killing about 55 white southerners in a campaign of terror. I mourn these lives and pray for the families devastated by this tragedy.
In the aftermath, local militias and mobs killed over 200 Black people across the region. The violence that followed tore communities apart and left lasting scars.”
This is how stupid you guys sound, what’s worse? Some of you are also brown and Muslim and should know so much better… is a political career really worth selling out and tarnishing your reputation? Is it really building power if you concede all of your principles?
@Lohkee37@notjasond100 Capitalism. You blame the multinational organizations buying up houses. Denying you health coverage. Deindustrialized America. Automating away all the jobs with robots and ai. But most white people are gullible idiots who think they are going homeless because of a trans child.
