Over the past few weeks, we removed hundreds of channels sharing leaked exam materials and related scams in India.
We’re also making the “edited” label more visible to prevent backdating scams.
Telegram is a force for good. Banning it — even temporarily — is a mistake.
India’s IT ministry banned Telegram for one week because some users shared leaked exam questions.
This punishes 150M+ ordinary Telegram users in India — not the insiders who leaked the exam materials.
And the ban hasn't stopped anything. The leaks just moved to other apps.
Congratulations to Mayor Mamdani. He inherited a huge budget deficit, brought it down to zero, and still invested in childcare, housing and city infrastructure.
When municipal governments stand with working families, not billionaires, there is nothing they cannot accomplish.
Ok @IndianExpress. You did a good story. Now do the next part. Deepak Kumar did a brave thing. He is losing his income because of that. He had 150 Members, now it’s 15. Get details from him and ask him to open online membership. By the end of the week, he will have 150 Members from all over India. Even if they don’t step in to the gym physically. We can’t let a good man lose. You can run this as an Indian Express Impact story and win your awards.
Yesterday, Class XII results were out. So many kids with 90% plus in family and friends. One friend shared his daughter got into Harvard for engineering.
I’m proud. Truly happy for them.
But later that day, a quiet thought crept in…
"What did the Manmohan Singh Govt do after the 26/11 Mumbai Attacks?"
This is a question which several Bhakts are asking on Twitter as they rejoice in their jingoism marred with fake news peddled in the Godi Media.
Well here is what the Manmohan Singh Govt actually did.....
Saddened by the passing away of Shri Sitaram Yechury Ji. He was a leading light of the Left and was known for his ability to connect across the political spectrum. He also made a mark as an effective Parliamentarian. My thoughts are with his family and admirers in this sad hour. Om Shanti.
Who gives right to any person to just get up and start addressing people in a railway bogie? Do railway rules permit it? Railway Minister must answer.
So it simply means, any random guy, anywhere in India has to stand and sing National Anthem randomly.
If you stand, you are patriotic. If you don’t you are anti-national.
This nonsense has to be curbed. Decorum, place, occasion, need and RESPECT is necessary to sing National Anthem.
With so many posts on ‘women don’t come to India’ and ‘women go abroad’, here is my own story.
My daughter did her three years of graduation in Delhi. We, then, lived in a super posh colony in South Delhi. College was 15 minutes walk of which 7 mins was within colony and seven on main road.
The main road walk was along fencing of a very premium government auditorium which was three min walk. Balance 4 mins were along main road on proper footpath with an institutional area wall right. She reached college gate.
SAFEST right? No shops, no public, main road, no people and absolutely safe road.
Cars would slow down and guys would ask her to ‘accompany’! They would ask ‘rate’. I was sure someone would be doing the same with the guys sister, daughter, wife too. In second year I gave her a car exclusively. No stepping on road. Ever.
Three years and she simply said I WILL NOT LIVE IN INDIA. IF THIS IS THE STATE OF DELHI AND SOUTH DELHI, I WILL NOT STAY IN INDIA ANYWHERE. I DO NOT WANT MY PARENTS TO TENSE UP EACH TIME I GO OUT.
This was 13 years back. She has right to her life. She is abroad since then.
I could afford. What about 95% plus who cannot?
Nirbhaya was ‘our’ daughter. Every daughter is a potential Nirbhaya.
Absolutely no improvement in law and order. It’s same today.
