Tribals' long march celebrates #RepublicDay. As the CPI(M) led a tribals' march from Nashik to Mumbai for their land rights, they paid floral tributes to the tricolour on their way. The celebration was marked on the National Highway from Nashik to Mumbai. CPI(M) leader Ashok Dhawale said that the march will continue till the Chief Minister meets the delegation to address their concerns, reports @vinivdvc.

The Government of Kerala continues to deliver on its promises, ensuring dignity, welfare, and social security for all. A substantial increase has been approved in social security and welfare pensions, raising them from ₹1,600 to ₹2,000 per month.

A decisive step towards a more caring and secure Kerala.

New measures have been introduced to strengthen agriculture and enhance support for women.

• Women’s Security Pension: ₹1,000 per month for 31.34 lakh women (aged 35–60) in AAY/PHH families who do not receive other pensions.
• Minimum Support Price for Rubber: Raised from ₹180 to ₹200 per kg.
• Paddy Procurement Price: Increased by ₹30 per quintal.

The new welfare package empowers the youth and honours those who serve at the grassroots.

• Youth Scholarship: ₹1,000 per month for 5 lakh youth (18–30 years) from poor families for skill development and exam preparation.
• Honorarium Hike: ₹1,000 increase for Anganwadi workers/helpers, ASHA workers, Saksharatha Preraks, and pre-primary teachers/ayas.
• Wage Revision: Monthly wages of school cooks increased by around ₹1,100.

Further support has been extended to grassroots organisations and government employees.

• Kudumbashree: ₹1,000 monthly grant for all 19,470 ADS units.
• DA/DR: An additional 4% installment sanctioned for government employees, teachers, and pensioners this financial year.

All pending arrears under welfare pensions, construction worker and Anganwadi pensions, scholarships, CASP, Supplyco, paddy procurement, and health schemes will be cleared in full, ensuring timely implementation and delivery.

This comprehensive welfare package reaffirms the government’s unwavering commitment to an equitable and secure #NavaKeralam. All new benefits and schemes will come into effect from November 1, 2025.
