BREAKING: In a stunning senile moment, Donald Trump just suggested it was Kamala Harris who treated Mike Pence poorly. Donald Trump clearly cannot remember anything. Retweet to make sure all Americans see this hypocritical and senile moment.
@MeshCampaign It really is exasperating as it excludes hundreds of women and men including myself for example: I had mesh inserted as Gold Standard treatment in 2009 but it wasn’t until 2015 that mesh was identified as the cause of vaginal and groin pain.
@FeltonR Why would they want to have this wee beauty euthanised? Some people have no heart! Your new son is a wee stunner thank you for being there for him xx
I of course mean International Mesh Awareness day - been running this campaign pro bono for nine years, alongside juggling full-time work, family & my own mesh related health stuff - so typos are par for the course im afraid!
Today is Internal Mesh Awareness Day - a time to reflect on the many lives that have been irreversibly damaged from surgical mesh used for prolapse, incontinence, hernia, rectopexy, some mastectomy repairs & animal surgeries.
I've just emailed the @DWPgovuk asking them to reverse their policy proposal to monitor and scrutinise how benefit claimants spend their money. Can you join in too on @organisehq? https://t.co/9azBylu6vY
Historical day for animal welfare as The Wildlife Management & Muirburn (Scotland) Bill has been passed!
We have been calling for years for snaring to be banned due to animal suffering.
And we now have additional powers to help @PoliceScotland investigate wildlife crime.
At 3 a.m. one night in 1988, Hawaiian singer Israel Kamakawiwo'ole called a local studio and said he needed to record something immediately.
He pleaded with the engineer: "Please, can I come in? I have an idea."
Kamakawiwo'ole recorded the iconic version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" in one take, which would soon touch countless people across the globe.
Great to see that the First Do No hHarm All Party Parliamentary group is back in action. With many thanks to MP Emma Hardy, who has supported Mesh injured women for many years.
