Regardless of imaginary percentages, his defensive contribution is less than most wingers, same for his build up. Hence why hes not “just a winger”.

They might contribute a little here and there but 90% of what they do is purely in the last 3rd. And that’s ok.

@_EcIipsX @BM9MF @FUT24News They both played 55 games. 5 of Palmer’s are the Euros appearances consisting of 10-20 min cameos. Which adds up to about 1 game. So Salah has still played more.

And yes Salah plays ‘basically as a striker’ the same way guys like Dele Alli, Ronaldo, Nkunku did.

Salah has 0 responsibilities for build up or progression which is half of Palmer’s job. His only responsibility is in the final 3rd

Given O’Riley & Hatate likely leave Celtic soon he could get a real shot at first team football at a high level. If he locks down a spot in a UCL team he has to start.

@JackR0424 Lawal has the energy and physicality that our midfield has been lacking for a while. He’s also great at crashing the box and carrying the ball which is why I wouldn’t like him limited to a sitting role.

Have Cullen sit and dictate play and let Lawal roam and cover when needed.
