🥳 🎊 I am really excited to share this project started in 2019 (when I was still a PhD student) with Katarzyna Hat, @RenateRutiku, Michał Wierzchoń, and @KrSandberg on domain-general confidence! https://t.co/2jyXbL485d 1/7
❓Can mindfulness prevent nightmares? If you had no chance to read a paper published @SciReports by Sofia Tzioridou et al., we talked to Sofia, the 1st author, and summed it up for you 😀

Happy to share one of our first (behavioural) papers using @con_arch/#skuldnet data: The role of mindful acceptance and lucid dreaming in nightmare frequency and distress. https://t.co/kmC1D8lwkG
Thanks a million to @C_LAB_UJ for organising our @con_arch/#skuldnet summer school! I'm still in awe over the amazing work of the trainers and the smart, eager participants. I had such a great time with you all. Thanks to @mari_ecpereira for the highlights :)
Finally, @AgostonMihalik closed off the week the best way possible with an intro and demo of his CCA/PLS toolbox. I'm sure that, like me, you wondered if there is anything out there linking brain-behavior, taking into account essential concepts from ML to improve such models.
If you think we talked "only" about MRI, you are wrong. @con_arch includes several bio-samples, and @PerLPQvist walked us through concepts such as epigenetics and how we can use neurogenetics with MRI to help us understand brain associations from a micro-macro perspective 🧬 🧠
Paola Galdi, Irene Mikkelsen, and @ClaudeBajada took over the practical in functional and diffusion MRI - they explained in such a didactic and straightforward way a concept as complex as MRI and many ways to pre-process and analyze it.
Chen Song left us speechless and curious about what constitutes an optimal brain 🧠 . Chen's work is massive and profound as she dives deep into complex concepts. Also, she beautifully uses different MRI modalities and sleep-deprivation strategies to address these questions.
@DanielMargulies talked about his *impressive* work on gradients and network organization. Daniel started his talk by showing us how concepts from other disciplines can be brilliantly applied to understanding the human brain & its functionalities. Interdisciplinarity is key! 🔑
All good things come to an end, so does the @con_arch Summer School 2022. Many thanks to the @COSTprogramme for the opportunity and @psychologyUJ for hosting us.
The @con_arch line-up at the #ASSC25#theassc is continued by @HatKatarzyna 🦄🦄🦄 she dazzles us with one of the biggest efforts to explore metacognition across modalities.
Our own @KrSandberg talk yesterday presenting the huge efforts of @con_arch on understanding the neural architecture of consciousness in a multidisciplinary and multimodal approach! @assc25@theASSC
One of the clinical applications of consciousness research is to be used for locked-in patients who are not able to communicate directly with their careers.

The question of consciousness is deeply embedded in memory research. Understanding this incredible link will allow us to live happier and more productive lives.
