@forrestfire It was not unusual for owners to send their Leica iii back to Leica to be upgraded to the new version. There are only a few differences between the c and the f the winder and shutter dial with flash sync being some of them. The summicron wasn't available until the end of the f

@forrestfire It's a Leica IIIf red dial with a summicron collapsible 50mm screw mount. Looks in great condition. The lens can be anywhere from $250-500 depending on lens condition of the glass which is very soft and scratches easily. The camera body will usually go for $1500-2000.
