Life is poker, not chess

Four years ago I walked away from a guaranteed promotion at McKinsey and a $300K PE offer to work in gaming for a third of the salary.

Many thought I was insane. They were playing chess: calculating the optimal move with perfect information.

I found this exchange from 16 years ago that was absolutely priceless!

I work with the Kolkata Knight Riders, and while we will probably be looking for a lot of IIM(C) students in the future, our current focus remains on hard hitting middle order batsmen and a leg spinner. If any of your current batch is proficient in either, we would be delighted to invite him for a pre placement net practice in early January.
