@Xandra_KH Never for any random purpose, always to wildlife preserves or parks in regions where they could be monitored, bred etc. And all 100% legal, requiring a mountain of documents and fees to be paid to government. Doesn’t happen anymore like that though, thankfully
@tkennedysa I fly international out of there at least 12 times a year, and every time it’s a disaster. 2/20 staff max at immigration. Security slow and too busy talking to be efficient. Cape Town isn’t much better, to be honest.
The "reporting" about the City of CT "removing religious symbols from festive lights" reminds me of this quote: “If someone tells you it's raining and another tells you it's dry, it's not your job to quote both. It's your job to look out the window and find out which is true.”
@Sascja Me too. It’s changed a LOT and I find it has zero value for me now, which is a shame because over the years I made loads of amazing friends and connections.
@Sascja Well, working between the UAE and Cape Town, but none of my work (private Concierge) is for local clients so I’m pretty out the loop here. Can’t complain though, get to travel loads and the work is amazing!
@Sascja Clearly forgot my Twitter notifications were still on! Haven’t posted in over a year!
So, for your question: since I don’t work in SA anymore, probably a good start to look at this: https://t.co/r6DBBWYn3j
@Monapants@inkjellybean Oh dear. Ok, so not sure where you’re based, but I’d recommend a small little shop in Cape town called TimePlex. They fixed an old Mac and iPad I was told were not fixable. They offer a collect and deliver service also - https://t.co/mEPasBmFS5 May be worth a call/mail
@inkjellybean@Monapants There are a few places, but need to look them up to refresh the memory. Let me check and I'll let you know? May I ask the specs of the Mac?
