MJ was supposed to make his comeback on July 13th. Today his biopic reached $1 BILLION. The universe found a way to keep his promise when he said, “See you in July” 🤍
genuinely the worst thing about being a michael jackson fan is not being able to sing along to like 90% of his songs. he said let me make these songs impossible to sing for anyone but me. i can’t do those things with my voice i just sound stupid
madonna’s new album is flopping and her biopic got cancelled because not everyone can get MJ budget now her fans are projecting their frustration onto michael. i understand i would be mad too if my fave was washed and had to rely on collaborations with newer artists to be relevant in 2026.
the fact that after victory day michael never stepped foot again in neverland will never not make me feel atrociously sad, what was once his safe heaven and his place of comfort and solace became an empty shell for him and i will never forgive those evil individuals for making him/it feel so.
Tbh the grief from Michael's death hits different bc the problem is not that he died, it's that he was killed. If he got cancer or another natural illness then i'd at least understand that it was just his time, but he absolutely did not have to die and that is why it's infuriating
