The Pretoria Magistrate’s Court heard that a ballistic report linked to the assassination of DJ Sumbody was allegedly found inside the home of police analyst Lawrence Makgotloe. Investigators reportedly discovered 23 additional reports at the property. Makgotloe faces allegations of manipulating forensic evidence and delaying key ballistic reports, including one tied to the 2024 murder of engineer Armand Swart.

Private Security Officers Arrested for Harassing E-Hailing Driver in KwaNdengezi
Police in KwaZulu-Natal have arrested the private security officers who were filmed harassing an e-hailing driver and his passengers at the KwaNdengezi Taxi Rank.
In the widely shared video, the officers are seen forcefully stopping the driver and shooting out his tyre on Wednesday morning.
Authorities confirmed the arrests and stated that investigations into assault and reckless conduct are underway.
