Data harvesters (using lead capture apps to get high numbers of people without having conversations) aren’t getting value. Those that capture quality data are getting much more out of it. #ETLLondon22
“There’s a 2nd coming of the QR code.. if you can get exhibitors scanning visitors…you can really use that data and react to it. We’re often so relieved to be at the show we forget to do these things” #ETLLondon22#eventtech
Quick short forms can actually lead to lower conversion. Need to find the sweet spot for length of forms. Questions need to be relevant to the stakeholders though. #ETLLondon22#eventtech
Session on data analytics at #etllondon22 with GES and Informa. Events got smaller over covid but didn’t effect success of an event, so size/attendance isn’t the best metric. If we get the ppl we’ve got in to engage more with the event, that’s as good as growing audience.
After completing our work on #COP26, we’re delighted to now be supporting @CITmagazine with the Sustainability Forum. A chance to show off our new compostable EcoBadge and lanyards made from recycled plastic bottles. #eventprofsuk#GoEco 💚
When you #eventprofs need name badges, but don’t want to risk anyone getting any nasty bugs, it’s time for contactless self-reg stations. We’re doing it now, and we’re doing it at large scale. Can we do it for you? https://t.co/jjBZc7W9fg
Conference Badges are back in action at MAD//Fest 2021 with 4000 people experiencing our contactless, COVID-safe badging system #covidsafe#madfest#eventprofslondon https://t.co/XNTpXYSQHq
If you are looking for us on the @MeetingsShow exhibitor list, we are there, but under 'No, not Conference Badges'.
Why? Well nobody needs badges at the moment! But you might need cunning tech kit to keep your office or future event safe. So pls come and chat. We'd💟to see you.
@Keir_Starmer The chancellor’s announcement today will offer support to businesses forced to close. Please take him to task If he doesn’t include those businesses that have NEVER been able to open since March, and won’t open again until next year. #WeMakeEvents
Every person here has produced an event, experience or moment that has been the highlight of your week, month or life. Now we are being left our fate by a govt unwilling or unable to understand that #WeMakeEvents and contribute exponentially to the economy and culture of the UK.
#metaphoralert. Our industry may be scaffolded right now, and not as noisy as usual, but we’re still here and time is still ticking. When this thing is over we may not have an industry, just when people need to live their lives again. #WeMakeEvents
Pleased to confirm we’re exhibiting virtually at @MeetingsShow . We’ll be showing off a bevy of services to help manage workplaces and events safely and smartly.
Off to #wemakeevents peaceful protest today to try and get meaningful support for the events industry. First industry to close, last to re-open, with no sector support. #viable#eventprofsuk
The Chancellor needs to improve his scheme to save jobs. Businesses that are closed by law to stop the virus need compensation. Many of their jobs will be needed when the law is relaxed.

Love this from Jordan at @pathable on #BLM. Very personal and gutsy take on the situation. (Fully aware that it shouldn’t feel gutsy btw - the fact that it does is part of the problem). https://t.co/Aoq6zhtlZE
