@SaltiWolf66 @EODHappyCaptain Every year the military goes to Congress with a plan. Working groups etc. that is where it ends, no action taken. The military knows the game. Allow Congress to grandstand, present plans, laugh at the fools in Congress, move on. GO/FO gets new quarters with cook.

@RyanMcbeth Obviously as a representative of the U.S. he should have cleared the visit through the embassy. He was hoping for an incident and he got it. He was there as an unidentified person and was detained. With the Middle East in turmoil now is not the time to FAFO.

@EODHappyCaptain I joined in 85, you were still generally taken care of, meals, lodging and affordable services, broke for college then re-upped. Something happened in those years. It became a business and a lot of horse and pony shows beyond simple CoCs. Never hungry and no mold back then, now?
