“Don’t let imperfect church people become the reason you walk away from Christian community altogether.
There are messy, hypocritical, and sometimes abusive people in every human institution, including the church. That reality doesn’t excuse the harm they cause, and it doesn’t require you to stay in an unhealthy place. It does require you to stop treating “church people failed me” as a permanent verdict against the entire body of Christ.
The wiser path is usually harder: find a healthier church if you can, set firm boundaries where you must, and refuse to let the failures of imperfect people redefine your relationship with Jesus. He only told you to put your hope in Him.”
