From the PUGY team 🐶 We want to share a bit of our perspective on the current market environment. This is not financial advice, just our own outlook on the near future and the year ahead. BTC has been trending lower over the past few months, but despite the bearish momentum, our broader view on crypto remains bullish. Historically, once prices begin to stabilize and recover, momentum tends to return across the market, including the meme coin space. Our optimism mainly comes from the macro backdrop. Global liquidity continues to expand over time, and crypto has historically benefited during periods of improving liquidity. The U.S. remains under pressure from high debt levels and rising interest costs, which we believe increases the likelihood that monetary policy eventually becomes more supportive again, even if central banks remain cautious in the short term due to inflation concerns. Looking further ahead, there is also a potential shift on the horizon as Jerome Powell’s term as Fed Chair approaches its end. While nothing is guaranteed, leadership transitions often come with policy adjustments, and a future Fed stance that is more open to easing and liquidity support could be a positive tailwind for risk assets over the longer term. We saw during the COVID period how liquidity injections had a strong impact on global markets, including crypto. While the inflation that followed was real and painful, history shows that risk assets tend to respond positively once liquidity conditions begin to ease again. Overall, we believe there is still a strong chance this cycle continues. If confidence returns and liquidity improves, BTC and the broader crypto market could move higher once again. Timing matters, which is why launching PUGY at the right moment is important. If BTC begins to recover during our bonding curve phase, renewed interest in crypto could help bring attention and liquidity back into the space and support the project. We remain optimistic about the near future and 2026 in general.
