NEET SS counselling delay is no longer incompetence ,it is pure shamelessness. The authorities have turned the future of doctors into a mockery with endless delays, zero accountability, and complete disregard for the careers, training, and mental wellbeing of candidates. What is even more disgraceful is the silence and indifference of those in power, as if the time and future of young doctors hold no value.
For years, doctors have been exploited in the name of service and training, and now even after clearing one of the toughest exams, they are being forced to suffer because authorities cannot do the bare minimum of conducting counselling on time. This is not an administrative lapse; it is institutional apathy and arrogance at its worst.
Stop treating NEET SS candidates like they are disposable. Resume counselling immediately and answer for this repeated failure.

NEET_SS is a national-level entrance examination. Aspirants appeared based on All India merit, not state merit.

Round 2: Choice filling extended “till further orders” for months due to Tamilvani & Ors. vs State of Tamil Nadu (SC matter on TN in-service seats reversion to AIQ). Even after recent SC directions on 151 vacant seats, zero resumption.

Why are there no strict, binding guidelines or fixed timelines from authorities to prevent these recurring annual delays that plague NEET UG, PG & SS every single year?

Thousands of qualified super-specialists are unemployed, have resigned previous jobs, and are suffering severe mental, financial & career destruction — all because of bureaucratic inertia + repeated court interventions with no accountability.

Patients across India are being deprived of specialist care.
