I don’t blame people for having vices. It’s only natural.
I guess I just wish people could *manage* their vices in healthier doses, so as to get short-term relief without doing long-term damage to themselves (and others).
We humans often numb our pain with various vices. It’s a shame that some (most?) of these vices create short-term relief while not actually helping our overall situation long-term (sometimes making our long-term situation even WORSE) …
And so the mini-podcast experiment begins! Was gonna do nothing for #Easter (as usual since leaving the church), but my Catholic friend Dave insisted that we do something so I was like fine... come over & let's record a convo about this whole Easter thing. This is Part 1 (of 17).
Kicking off an experimental mini-podcast series where I discuss/debate the relevance of #Easter (and #Christianity as a whole). It’s 17 parts (+ this intro). I’m planning on posting all of it throughout this week, so stay tuned to hear the rest! #religion#podcast
I know a bunch of my friends/fam (especially the females) can't stomach the violence, but to me... #Equalizer is the ultimate feel-good storyline. Denzel basically rights the wrongs in the world. Something that "God" never does.
I couldn't decide which one I liked better, so... here's both! Happy Star Wars Day! May the 4th be with you! 🤓 (P.S. Star Wars fans, check out my personal account @jaykaslo for a series of Deleted Scenes.)
