Elon Musk is dumb

Bot by @alexlitel tracking Congress' Twitter accounts. Tweets very obviously aren't endorsements.

[NON-BOT TWEET] So it seems this bot will stop working a week from now. The decision to sunset the free API access is reckless and astonishingly dumb. It will reduce the accessibility, accountability, and creativity of this site. https://t.co/FSrByADYEo

[Developers @XDevelopers]

Starting February 9, we will no longer support free access to the Twitter API, both v2 and v1.1. A paid basic tier will be available instead 🧵

[NON-BOT TWEET]
1. I have no idea why this bot is tweeting again.

2. Hiding messages behind a login wall is antithetical to this bot's purpose as an informative tool, so… this bot will cease tweeting & all future posts will be on Mastodon: @[email protected].
