New paper out today!
This time with Chris, we study the defect entanglement entropy for superconformal RG interfaces. These are susy codimension one interfaces separating the SCFT LS and the N=4 SYM with spatially varying mass terms.

👋 Following the successful completion of the first day of our workshop, "The Physics and Mathematics of Boundaries, Impurities, and Defects," we are delighted to welcome this group of participants to the Institute.

New paper out today: We study scale-invariant hydrodynamics and show, among other things, that hydrodynamics—despite being an effective framework—is strongly biased toward conformality.

Paper today! This time with Ignacio, Carlos and @karch_andreas we showed that the boundary entropy and effective central charge are connected, as well as non-interface crossing intervals pick up a boundary contribution: https://t.co/NqqmK5HqRT
Since we are at it (and since @conifold just liked my last paper post -- great twitter handle!): here from last December. Evangelos was visiting for 3 months and got a nice paper out from it!

@erisaonX Yeah, like having access to counselling services within the institution would def help or training the fac to recognise signs of mental issues. In Greece/Spain in most institutions these options def don’t exist.
The podcast with Dr. Fernando Quevedo has been uploaded. Among other things, we talk in detail about his recent paper with @CburgesCliff on getting deSitter in string theory. Go watch!

I wrote some lecture notes on an introduction to generalized global symmetries:

I've always felt that these ideas could basically be taught at the level of an intermediate QFT course. This is my attempt at doing so!
