There’s no better time than Spring to visit the village of Coniston.
The flowers are in bloom, the lambs are bleating in the fields and the rain is (sort of) less frequent.
Where are your favourite places in the village?

Not all outside loos are the same, some of us have environmentally friendly soaps and others have greaseproof paper instead of toilet roll (is that still a thing?!)
I’ve rounded up a couple of other loos I know from all over the world, let me know which loo you’d prefer…
Over the years many other loos have tried to compete with my view and to be quite honest there have been a few close contenders.
If you think the view from your loo is better then I’d love for you to send me a photo!
Post your photo below for me to judge

Now that the weather is getting better I’m expecting a lot more visitors to the village from far and wide.
Have you visited the village of Coniston from far away? Who’s travelled the furthest to see this view? Let me know in the comments…

Sometimes Monday’s can be a bit of a slog, so here’s a joke to brighten up your day!
If you’ve got a good joke please leave it in the comments, we could all do with a laugh!

I’ve had to go back onto dating app for toilets Plenty of Flush.
I’ve shared some of my matches below, can you help me decide whether to swipe right?

I do love to see The Old Man of Coniston covered in snow.
It may be cold and wet, a nightmare to drive on and slippery underfoot, but it’s also beautiful to look at and a great excuse to stay inside and keep cosy and warm.
What do you think of the snow?

Eggs are a bit overdone for me Brad but the amount of butter and browning of the bacon is perfect. 5.3/10 loses points for having no hash browns, sausage, tomato... in fact it's a 4/10
Today is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
There are thousands of incredible women in the Lake District today and throughout history.
Which women in your life deserve some recognition today?

What do you think about while you’re on the loo?
Planning how to find out who’s using your milk at work?
Contemplating the existence of life on Uranus?
Maybe just wondering who did such a shoddy job on the bathroom tiling?
Let me know what your thoughts are.

My favourite part of Spring is the sound of lambs bleating.
There are many sheep in Coniston and you’ll sometimes catch them being moved from field to field via the village (much to the entertainment of visitors and locals alike!).
What’s your favourite thing about Spring?
Aaahh the first day of Spring!
My main man Bill Wordsworth wrote about early Spring and I’ve shared some more of my favourite Spring poems below, but what’s your favourite Spring flower? And can you guess what mine is?

It’s payday and I was going to treat myself to a cream tea at The Green Housekeeper Café.
But as it is so cold today I might have to opt for something a bit warmer! Thankfully they always have new homemade specials on the menu to warm the cockles on days like this.

The lovely Heather from Coniston Parish Council has informed me that all the public loos in Coniston are now open!
Oh what a time to be alive, the tourists flocking to this village will now be able to relieve themselves in the comfort of an outdoor loo.
We're open for business!
