@sullymygoodname Very reasonable take. I’m someone who absolutely hates doing someone else’s job (done every day). I think both players and coaches need to be better than they are. But hey, maybe, just maybe, this leads to changes, whatever those may be.

The tournament berths, or lack thereof, speak for themselves. I’m not calling for the man to be jobless. But his time in our program will have run out. At this rate, it isn’t about NIL. It isn’t about being a mid-major.

It’s a failure to evolve as a program.

@udlowdboyz Precisely why GM is perfect. It lets him center on what he does best, which is recruiting players to his Alma mater and giving them potential to shine.

Another thing I didn’t add was that the players need to be better too. But that’s obvious for every team.

So with that said, I think Anthony Grant’s role in our program is best served as a general manager. People want to play for him.

That part is consistent. And it’s the truth.

Anyways, I’m done typing. Embrace debate. But let’s do this peacefully and not point fingers.

You may make whatever criticisms you want about him as a coach, I certainly haven’t shied away from it. But what the man can do, because the numbers show for it, is recruit. And get people to stay.

He’s sent more players to the NBA than nearly the rest of the A10 combined.
