Engaging people with the transformative power of nature to grow a happier healthier society.
A non-profit organisation offering nature workshops for wellbeing.
Interesting read, I would edit to say 'find oneself in nature than loose oneself in nature!' 😂 Jenny Odell on Why We Need to Learn to Do Nothing: ‘It’s a Reminder That You’re Alive’ https://t.co/zXYy1rd99b via @Pocket
Tree's in a forest withstand the winter wind by counteracting each other's sway and bouncing of each other's crown. Time to think about who may be standing alone this winter #mentalhealthawareness
With less than 24 hours to go in our Crowdfunder we've just received a £4000 pledge from the Cornwall Social Inclusion Fund taking our current STRETCH total up to £9545!!! Blown away! Anyone want to help us get to £10000?!

Interesting paper that mirrors some of our research - opportunity to experience urban nature was only related to human well-being benefits, while orientation towards nature - or connection - works for the wellbeing of people and nature: https://t.co/1JGSCTCiNg
There's only so much nature can do for mental health. Need to look at causes too. How hard hitting emotional threat messaging advised by SAGE can lead to mental health issues. Happy to have signed this letter with dozens of other psychologists: https://t.co/IYe7y56Bkf
@angie_a Hi
We set up a Nature connection and adult forest school for health and wellbeing in Cornwall during lockdown :)
In the final stages of our Crowdfunder campaign please support us https://t.co/8qOQokE1Hy
Early risers...Nature Connects will be on BBC Radio Cornwall at 7.20am, talking about our new CIC, offering Nature connection and adult forest school for health and well-being in Cornwall, and our Crowdfunder campaign which ends on Thursday

We've managed to get a meeting with @georgeeustice today to talk about his plans for green prescriptions and ask him why there needs to be a 'pilot' when the evidence is already clear. We all need nature now! https://t.co/xIokEnnTCf
Whilst many people felt a greater engagement with nature over lockdown - 81% of people felt better after visiting nature and 89% of people agree that green space is important for health.
However just 34% of people without outdoor space are within a 10 minute walk of nature!
We are feeling so grateful to @tevicornwall for putting together a great webinar today and loved hearing from @BFadventure and @DanRavenEllison Feeling inspired we will tell George Eustace tomorrow that we are all here working hard and ready for action!
@tevicornwall Ah so this is what it looked like from the 'other side!' huge thankyou Tevi for organising and running this webinar! Inspiring and a great opportunity for us to speak and "connect".
@findingnature Thanks for all the amazing work you're doing in the field of nature connection :) it would be great to connect with your department. What would be the best way to do that?
