I think Japan really got it right with creating “genres” based on demographics. You know what you’re roughly getting when someone recommends you a shounen or a josei manga.

Even if you’re outside that core target audience you can still enjoy it.

Let me explain what's happening in the Philippines:
The government wants a representative or an office to talk to when a certain platform is used in a cybercrime. If they don't assign a rep, they'll be banned for the time being.

That's it. Everything else is doomposting.

This outrage about the PH demanding Discord to set up a local office is exhausting. People have been dragging this topic into my server without reading the articles they post.

Unlike what I kept repeating to myself, it’s not over. Drawing is fun and me being worse than AI doesn’t make drawing food any less fun.

All throughout today I was lying in bed devastated about this leap in AI. In part I was confident that there would always be some sort of soullessness and a “tell” with it.

But with the recent developments, I find it difficult to ignore that AI generations are now undoubtedly capable of being beautiful. I laid in bed struggling to think of what may come next.

Every industry is filled with AI. And if you can no longer tell human-made from what we considered “slop”…

“What good am I?” I thought.

In the face of beautiful creations that are simply created on a whim. It’s hard to justify my existence.

However… it might represent a change in how we consume things. Like the beauty of a handwritten letter over a printed one. the human effort behind it is what makes it special.

The image of an artist as an idol; as someone you’ll like to watch over and grow alongside with is one that is exclusive to humans.

Enjoy AI creations as simply wonderful creations, but enjoy human art intently as human art.

A while ago during the summer, we picked mangoes from our trees. This was a cart of harvest. We placed it outside our house and let people take from it.

One if our trees was cut down, so we can’t give away as much. But it’s still nice to sit down and share a mango with friends.

There was one time where I was particularly stressed so I bought a cake. When I opened it, a fly had been in the packaging and it made me cry a lot.

The cake wasn’t particularly expensive, but it made me feel like the world won’t be kind even if you’re struggling.

While I was livestreaming Blue Archive, my status was shown on Discord so there ended up being a discussion on a server whether I should be banned or not for playing it.

I previously tried it and dropped it before Eden Treaty but on the second go, I’m really enjoying it.
