@Br5491 @PFF_College It’s bc you don’t have reasonable answers. To suggest CLEMSON (10-1 conference champ) OHIO STATE (Undefeated conference champ) and NOTRE DAME (10-1 undefeated regular season) didn’t belong in the playoff is a total smooth brain thing to say. Take the L and say less dumb stuff.

@Br5491 @PFF_College You’re not addressing anything I’m saying. And what you are saying is not doing anything to prove your point. Sure say the SEC and the Big10 both expand to 20 teams, Bama/OSU/Clemson are both still going to be among the top 5 programs in the country.

@Br5491 @PFF_College As an example post OU/TX shift, a 10-2 Oklahoma team that comes 2nd in the SEC West with losses to Alabama and Florida is not getting priority over an undefeated Pac12 champion Oregon team. Or do you disagree?

@Br5491 @PFF_College You think it’s a benefit for the conference to expand beyond 16 teams? Only the conference champion get an auto-bid. The “beating each other up” through conference play that the SEC likes to use as a crutch only gets worse. Strength of record for the 2nd tier SEC teams drops.

@Br5491 @PFF_College How so? Neither Clemson, Oregon, or OSU are going to switch conferences. Clemson and OSU show no signs of slowing up. OU will obviously be less dominant in the SEC but will make it harder for teams like TAMU and Auburn to make the playoff with more chances to lose in-conference

@Br5491 @PFF_College Using end of season rankings TAMU played 2 ranked teams, ND & Clemson each played 2 ranked teams (3 games, they rematched), and OSU played 2 ranked teams.. Also the committee is never going to leave out an undefeated P5 conference champ in favor of a team with 2 conference losses
