I’ve never been one to really go in depth into film critique online but season 3 of The Witcher has made me very strongly considering writing an entire dissertation about how the writers and showrunners missed the mark on nearly every important aspect of the source material.

If you’ve followed me for long, you probably know how dear the Witcher universe is to me, but I wouldn’t call myself one of the super fans that couldn’t find anything to enjoy. I really enjoyed season one despite the liberties they took, but season 2 and 3 were utter failures.

So strange that the show runners of The Witcher seem to have a rule against hiring people over the age of 40. Even Emhyr Var Emreis looks like a CW character. So bizarre that they nailed the casting for a couple, but totally missed the mark on many others
