Let’s be real: there’s a WHOLE lot of men whose lives, careers, and families have benefited from an abortion (including several “pro-life” GOP Congressmen).
Men, we need you right now. You can get through in rooms others can’t. Your power matters. Speak up. This is about us all.
The pandemic made the water security crisis facing many Native Americans visible to outsiders, even though access to clean water has been putting Indigenous people at risk for decades. A new report offers solutions.

@katiehobbs AZ resident here.. why is someone who was in the mob at the Capitol on Jan 6th and was a candidate on some of the ballots that are being audited being allowed to even touch a ballot? This just gets more and more suspect. Not bipartisan or legal at this point. 🤦🏼♀️
It appears that someone is creating twitter accounts in the name of deceased scientists and adding a fake @ed_hawkins warming stripes logo to them. Here's the two I've found & reported for impersonation. Any more?

"South32 is asking state regulators to tweak a permit and allow the mining company to discharge several million gallons per day of treated water into Harshaw Creek, south of Patagonia."
@DoctorVive@AlanEdmondson1@citizensclimate I hope you consider changing your mind on this. I don't understand opposition to something that would, work, protects the most vulnerable, and has bipartisan support. My friends don't like it because they hate capitalism, but really? AGW can't wait for a new economic system.
The bill before House and Senate is called Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend. Glad to see it mentioned in this interesting thread. It is bi-partisan.
@ClimateHuman There is a larger well established and ongoing movement that is in keeping with Green Party principles. It is called the Citizens Climate Lobby. It's fees imposed for Carbon and Greenhouse Gas Use is not kept at the federal level but returned to individuals who then can use it.
@DoctorVive@sunrisemvmt The bi-partisan bills already before congress are the best first step. Please support Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend. It gets us all moving in the right direction together. Then we can talk about what comes next.
Here are my top 3 Qs for assessing 2020 candidates:
1. Who best understands than anything short of transformative action on climate is tantamount to genocide?
2. Who, if elected, will be most porous to social movements/ least likely to seal themselves off with elite consultants?
