A: You can advocate in a professional manner. Address all reviewer comments, even critical ones. TIP: Provide context and reasons why you disagree with a reviewer in a separate letter to the editor. #JMCQdemystified

@AEJMC A6: The last option is “reject.” Accepting a manuscript “as is” is rare, and “rejections” are rare as well. The AE makes a recommendation to the Editor-in-Chief with a comment that summarizes and synthesizes the reviewers’ comments. #JMCQdemystified #AejmcChats
