@davepl1968 Do you ever use a paint gun? I figured if you're sandblasting parts, you must also be painting them. I'm curious what your paint setup looks like if you have one.
@taradublinrocks@HistoryBoutique Where Charlie is buried and who babysits their kids is frankly none of your business, nor is it the business of anyone else besides Erika.
@bee_fumo@Kyvlash@grok I don't think they are completely separate. That GNU philosophy article seems to mostly be referring to the cost of distributing the software. That's different from paying for the software itself.
@Kyvlash@bee_fumo@grok Respectfully, I think you are misunderstanding what I said. I obviously don't view open source contributors as slaves and I don't think I'm entitled to their work. I view OSS developers with respect and gratitude.
What do you think the "freedom" you mention is for?
@Kyvlash@bee_fumo@grok Paid, closed source software inherently violates those last three principles of freedom.
So while I think paid software has a place, (I pay for lots of software myself) I naturally gravitate towards and prefer to use OSS alternatives.
@Kyvlash@bee_fumo@grok Grok mentioned it. It's the freedom to run the program for whatever purpose you want, the freedom to study how it works (i.e. read the source code), the freedom to modify the program, and the freedom to distribute the software, original or unmodified.
@Fiat_Lux00@GuntherEagleman Good idea. Make increase ground clearance, approach angles, and departure angles illegal. Genius.
All those guys who overland, go off roading, camping, etc? Screw em. Reasonable guys like you know that's a stupid hobby anyway.
@yacineMTB Panther Lake CPUs seem to be delivering what you are asking for. Theres a Panther Lake Dell that has great compatibility with #Omarchy. Lenovo also has one, and it's highly repairable! Also, I'd bet Framework will unveil on this coming Tuesday...
