The idea of E-Voting is that power can be shared more equally between the politicians and the people. This in turn creates better relationships between politicians and citizens. #eme4390S23gs

E-Voting’s other purposes can be used for petitions and other poll based activities. This is more efficient than standing out on a crowded street and trying to speak to somebody when they are in a rush somewhere. #eme4390S23gs

In the Module 13 reading I thought it was very modern to implement electronic poll voting. This makes this a connivence especially for the younger generations. #eme4390S23gs

From the Social Dilemma you can see that posting something on social media is almost like getting a digital tattoo. What you posted can be found and view by anonymous people or “invisible audiences”. #eme4390S23gs

Not everything you see on social media is true. News that you find on social media should be fact checked because that information could be there to bait you and keep you engaged with someones platform. #eme4390S23gs

Through the Social Dilemma I can see that social media is a third person who is watching your interactions between you and your friends. It is better to meet face to face for sensitive information than to text on these platforms. #eme4390S23gs

This documentary definitely enforces the fact that social media is run by algorithms that will continue to provide you with things you like based on your previous interactions. #eme4390S23gs

One thing in class that is reflected in the Social Dilemma is the addiction to social media. Setting time limits on social media is a solution that both this class and the Social Dilemma provided. #eme4390S23gs

Poverty can be named as one of the leading causes in any kind kind of discrimination and its no different in the digital world. Kids without access to internet will have issues maintaining relationships, issues with education, and other things. #eme4390s22

Digital Divide can leave lower class families who are unable to afford internet isolated from the rest of the digital world which can have numerous negative effects. #eme4390s22
