@JacobWolf That’s the dream 🤘🏼It’s rough to get stuck with Georgia in the semifinal matchup though. We could beat Michigan, but I don’t think we ever get that matchup.
@JacobWolf Interesting. I’ve often had doctors ask if I’m feeling ill during standard checkups because my tonsils appear quite enlarged to them, but I don’t know what size they’d classify as. Something to keep in mind as I continue my search for medical answers. Thanks for the reply!
@verge Quite possibly the worst redesign I've seen for any platform/website I've ever used. Feels like nothing is easily readable/parsed at a glance. It's either completely empty space or a clump of text just dumped on the page. If this remains, I'll simply stop visiting the site.
Our system of government that allows this is so hilariously flawed. I remember being taught in school that our Constitution was some wonderful, almost prescient document that would stand as a model for all current and future democratic nations. What a fucking joke we are.
A minority sitting in their ivory tower, stripping away the rights of the majority piece by piece… these Supreme Court justices, and all of their enablers, should be terrified to ever step outside the bounds of their house. Fuck this minority rule bullshit.
These are all pretty common sense proposals that could have a real impact, yet Republican politicians reject them like they’re radical, unconscionable ideas. The NRA and the gun culture they espouse are cancers on American society.
These are ideas we rejected in the bipartisan agreement on principles for gun-related legislation announced yesterday. Why? Because we knew that if they were included, the bill would not command the votes needed for passage.
Modern Republicans aren’t interested in governing. They get elected, try to pass tax cuts for their wealthy donors, and then obstruct and prevent any attempts to actually fix our country’s problems. They don’t bother putting in effort to improve the lives of the American people.
“In their hearts, they want to be essentially professional trolls, talking heads, podcasters, content creators,” says Chris Hayes on the GOP. “They are much more concerned with posting on Twitter and owning the libs than they are with doing the work.”
