🚨EXC: Trump considering pulling US from Nato
In my second interview with the president, Mr Trump said removing America from the alliance was now ‘beyond reconsideration’.
Singling out the UK, the US president rebuked Sir Keir Starmer for refusing to get involved in the American-Israeli war against Iran, suggesting Britain's navy was not up to the task.
“You don’t even have a navy. You’re too old and had aircraft carriers that didn't work,” he said, referring to the state of Britain’s fleet of warships.

Good to see more confirmation for our scoop that Ukraine is seeking to use the E3 group of UK, France and Germany to reinvigorate the stalled peace process

🚨FIRST LOOK at the giant UFC structure from the South Lawn. Bleachers on three sides flanking the giant rig that has been built specially for this. Looks super impressive in person.
Very sorry to see that Sir Alex Younger has died of cancer, aged just 62. Younger's wife 'was shocked that he had never told his mother he was a spy, and so he did. “Yes, darling, so was I,” his mother replied.' https://t.co/6sfVIqBqpF
🚨Where we are on Iran this morning:
— The US and Iran resumed tit-for-tat strikes despite efforts to preserve the ceasefire overnight.
—Iran launched missile and drone strikes on military and energy infrastructure across the Gulf overnight, including Kuwait airport, killing 1.
— The US responded with retaliatory strikes on an Iranian military facility on Qeshm Island.
— The flare-up began after the US launched a Hellfire missile at the engine room of a Botswana-flagged vessel which tried to run the blockade.
— It marks one of the biggest nights of attacks since the ceasefire was announced. Remarkable that it’s still being called a ceasefire when missiles are flying across the Gulf.
And looks like it will be significantly smaller.
‘In the weeks since the last dinner, we have raised funds to ensure WHCA members who purchased tickets will not have to pay if they attend the second event, which will be a more intimate gathering.’
NEW: The White House Correspondents' Dinner has been rescheduled for July 24, according to the association.
'The event will feature significantly enhanced safety measures and new access procedures.'
The telling detail here is not just that Mandelson ignored the warning — which, frankly, is what you’d expect. It is that by the very end, senior officials appeared to know exactly how combustible this was.
Quite the insight into Lord Mandelson's final hours as US ambassador. Sir Olly Robbins warns him against sitting down with @MrHarryCole but presses ahead anyway. Sir Olly also asks a series of questions about his relationship with Epstein, which Lord Mandelson appears not to answer. He is sacked 48 hours later.
EXC: World Cup ticket fiasco: After President Trump blasted FIFA’s sky-high prices, now even the executives helping to organize the tournament agree. Atlanta bosses spent $600K in tax dollars on World Cup VIP seats while fretting over 'crazy' prices, according to emails obtained by The Post.

Textbook Iranian negotiating tactic. Suspend the talks, blame Israel, insist a ceasefire condition has been violated — but stop short of formally walking away. All aimed at prolonging the pain for Washington.
Iran has suspended talks with the US in protest of Israel’s actions in Lebanon, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported Monday
“Given the continuation of the Israeli regime’s attacks in Lebanon, and considering that Lebanon had been one of the preconditions for a ceasefire — which has now been violated on all fronts, including Lebanon — the Iranian negotiating team is suspending ‘talks and exchanges of texts through mediators,’” Tasnim reported
@LTGetsPolitical Fair point and I imagine many there would. But I suspect the White House wants troops who are camera-ready for a globally televised event centred around elite combat sport.
Bizarre framing. The White House is giving troops the chance to attend what will probably be the most sought-after UFC event in history — tickets are basically gold dust.
Why wouldn’t they want America’s leanest and meanest representing the country on live TV?
NEW: The Pentagon is moving to recruit hundreds of troops to appear as spectators at President Donald Trump’s UFC cage-fighting event at the White House, and requiring those who attend to pay their own way and meet height and weight requirements.
As Henry Nowak lay bleeding to death in the middle of a quiet residential street in Southampton, his wrists were chained together in handcuffs.
Police officers, who he thought were coming to his aid, had fallen for the lies of his attacker, Vickrum Digwa, a 23-year-old Sikh man who claimed the 18-year-old finance student had racially abused him.
Digwa had in fact stabbed Mr Nowak four times with an 8in ceremonial knife 👇
