News: Ilia Frolov, a 6'11", 225‑pound center, tells ESPN he has committed to John Calipari and Arkansas.
“It was an amazing visit. Coach Calipari and the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Coach Cal can teach me a lot about the game, and I will do whatever it takes to help him win.”
Frolov, who turned 18 today, is a member of the Russian National Team.
John Calipari, who has been on the Hill lobbying for Congressional involvement, pens a letter to US Senators over legislation, co-signed by several others and supported by the coaches association.
Just finished the first meeting with my team. I am glad, just as you are, to have Billy back on campus! This is a great group of guys who will play for one another (because thats who they are), ultra competitive, with a will to win. If we are not a great defensive team I haven’t done my job! We are physical, should be a great shot blocking team (at all 5 positions) and we have dogs! LETS GOOO
Mahomes mentions the first meeting with Eric Bieniemy has him ready to run through a brick wall. Needless to say, he's happy EB is back and notes the players that haven't had him haven't seen the real EB yet.
