When you add in those who are currently divorced to the never-married group, about 59% of college-educated Black men and 85% of college-educated Black women aged 25+ in the U.S. are unmarried—that’s around 1.77 million men and 3.83 million women.
So, the gap gets even wider when you count both never-married and divorced folks, showing just how many more single college-educated Black women there are compared to men in this age group.
