@niroads Look at this example from Sweden. The roundabout is smaller and you approach it at a harsher angle. The road narrows to a single lane for the junction and before the crossing there is a chicane in the road. Everything is about making drivers slow down and pay more attention.

@niroads I don't think the answer is to never build roundabouts in urban areas, but to design them more safely instead. At the moment we design them for traffic capacity without thinking of anything else.

La DGA a commandé le 24 avril 2026 8 véhicules avancés radar de détection aérienne #VARDA supplémentaires à @Saab et @ScaniaGroup.

Cette commande vient compléter celle de décembre 2025 pour 8 systèmes.

If neither of those two parties want to join the Executive then no government can be formed.

We negotiated a deal and the US supported it. When they withdrew their support, we abandoned it.

@matthewhodg @CLondoner92 Yeah I agree that’s prob where the bulk of the journey time improvements come from. They only need to get about 13 mins off to get it under 2 hours.

It’s just so much money to spend on rolling stock, even with depots, maintenance, simulators etc.
