Sometimes you’ve just got to love peak British humour and politics.🇬🇧😂
As Andy Burnham went to be sworn in as a MP, a Tory backbencher heckled from the sidelines:
“He’s not the Messiah!”
Without missing a beat, Burnham fired back:
“I’m a naughty boy.”
Only in Britain.👏😂🤭
Erm… I’ve just heard this song for the first time and I mean this with the utmost respect and concern, has the whole world lost its god damn mind? We need to stop promoting mediocrity from a 36 year old child.
Taylor Swift has released the “Opalite” music video featuring Domhnall Gleason, Cillian Murphy, Lewis Capaldi, Graham Norton, Jodie-Turner Smith & Greta Lee.
Harry Styles dropping big beat tunes?! Oh my boy is gunning for that Glastonbury 2027 Headline Slot. Calling it now, he’s got that locked in with Emily Eavis already
Brooklyn Beckham speaks out against parents Victoria and David Beckham:
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I'm not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life. […] My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”
Rachel trying to look serious and menacing at the face to face murder was just really reminding me of Feathers McGraw (Complimentary) #TheTraitors#TheTraitorsUK
If you think you’re after a bad day, at least you’re not David Harbour. Literally gasped when she sampled the Stranger Things theme tune! People on that show must hate his ass too! Welcome back @lilyallen take a 🙇🏻♀️
Literally the worst possible outcome. This album celebrates mediocrity and has no place winning The Mercury Prize. Set up from the start like oh btw we’re randomly holding it in Newcastle… no reason 🤷 Will go down as one of the most pointless winners in the prizes history.
@kailfc19 There is nuance to it, by all means it’s a very successful album and people obviously connected to it. But The Mercury Prize is rewarded irrespective of popularity but on musical merit. And I’m sorry but the same guitar sound 3 albums in a row doesn’t cut it
@LeeCarts I’d say naturally tbh but an awful lot of assumptions there pal. I’m sure he’s a cracking lad personally. But the award is grounded on musical merit, irrespective of popularity. Someone making the same album for the third time just doesn’t cut it and is creatively boring
