Just finished a two day trek in forest outside Chiang Mai. Did elephant riding, white water rafting, waterfall jumping and lots of walking.

Can't wait to fly home with @officialgulfair on GF 0151 to Bahrain then on GF 0005 to Heathrow, then home. Hope I have enough leg room!?

Chiang Mai is much nicer than Bangkok. There is very little traffic and the city walls protect from roving bandits and aggressive tuk tuks.

Same bus from border to bus depot. Pick up truck from depot to second bus depot. Then sleeper bus from there to Chiang Mai.

Mini van from depot to middle of town. Tuk tuk from there to second bus depot. Local bus from there to Udon Thani border crossing.

Finished last bus ride. Got bus from hotel to bus depot. Bus from there to other bus depot in Vien Tiane.
