@GNev2 There are so many mistakes I would not rule out betting based corruption. Oh, everyone makes mistakes, their incompetent etc shouldn’t prevent a deeper dive into why there are regular errors and the possibility of gambling syndicate involvement
An outside body needs to investigate PMGOL. There could be betting associated corruption. First scorer, assist, team etc. Competence or lack off can be an easy smokescreen
@RichardJMurphy As the UK imports most of its food and these cost have been in part driven by Brexit then there may also be a desire to keep interest rates high to support exchange rate to put downward pressures on food inflation.
@IrelandsFuture Could not agree more strongly with this article. NI’s gift to change the direction of our society is dependent on the allowance given by London. Fiscal latitude for devolved nations even Scotland is extremely limited.
Today, university staff go on strike
They are striking for decent pay, pensions and secure employment
They are striking for students
They are striking for the future of higher education
RT IF YOU BACK THEM
#ucuRISING
500,000 workers take strike action today. They are taking on corporate and government greed and power.
RT if you back every single individual who is on the picket lines today.
#EnoughIsEnough
Nobody is taking this action lightly. I've a £1,000p/m childcare bill, housing costs, and inflated utility bills. It's terrifying. But there is no other choice - we have to fight to protect our pensions, working conditions and for our precarious colleagues.

@Peston The government cannot run out of money!!! A completely incorrect statement. It chooses not fund public services and the blames the workers. Accuracy should be a mainstay for some in your position
