Day 9 - We delivered more sporting sessions to the Primary school today teaching them different types of sports! We then came back and had a cooking lesson from the catering team and learnt how to make Chapati! @coleggwent@FS_Foundation@ChallengeAbroad@TaithWales
Day 8 - Today the students delivered sessions about the importance of teamwork and cooperation! This was the followed by delivering sporting activities to the primary school children! @coleggwent@FS_Foundation@ChallengeAbroad@TaithWales
Day 7 - Today we were back at the primary school to deliver a session about the benefits of sport and exercise! The students then led sports sessions for 120 students, teaching them Football, Rugby, Rounders and Netball! @coleggwent@ChallengeAbroad@FS_Foundation@TaithWales
Day 6 - We visited a local coffee plantation based on Mount Meru! Our host showed us the long process of Harvesting, Drying, Removing the Shell, Roasting, Brewing and Finally Drinking! ☕️ @coleggwent@FS_Foundation@ChallengeAbroad@TaithWales
Day 5 - Today we visited the Kilimanjaro National Park! This was followed by learning about the Chugga Tribe and went for a swim at Marangu Falls Kinukamori waterfalls! Amazing experience! @coleggwent@FS_Foundation@ChallengeAbroad@TaithWales
Day 4 - We planted 150 trees for a local school and then visited the National History Museum in Arusha! We learnt about evolution in Africa and even got to meet Tom the tortoise! 150 years old and 250KG! @coleggwent@FS_Foundation@ChallengeAbroad@TaithWales
Day 3 - We have finished planting all the vegetables! Spinach, Collard Greens, Nightshade, Chinese Lettuce, Amaranth and Pumpkins. Ready to plant 150 trees on Friday! @coleggwent@ChallengeAbroad@FS_Foundation@TaithWales
Day 2 - Tough graft this morning from everyone to get the ground ready for planting tomorrow! We then visited a local cultural centre where we learnt about the Maasai, playing the drums, dancing and different instruments! @coleggwent@FS_Foundation@ChallengeAbroad
