Sarah Mitton of Brooklyn, N.S. (population 849) is the reigning world champion in shotput, on her way to her second Olympics.

Until last year, Sarah's mom, Bonnie, had never been on a plane before. She last saw Sarah throw live at districts in high school.

Next month, Bonnie is flying to Paris to watch her daughter compete in the Olympic Games. Here's their amazing story --
