Just do me a favor, let the people who want to give him his flowers in retirement do just that.

For a lot of us, Tim was the first glance of hope in a dead era of White Sox baseball. One of the rare prospects Kenny Williams drafted in the first round who didn't feel like a reach from the start.

We remember the center field discussion, we remember him wearing #12, we remember an immediate contributor in the lineup, and we remember a guy who took a team friendly deal after a 2.3 WAR rookie season.

We also remember a guy who went above and beyond for the community, which isn't a requirement contrary to popular belief.

TA spent nearly 900 games in a White Sox uniform, knocked 1k+ hits, won a batting title, and was the straw that stirred the drink on that 2021 team alongside Jose Abreu.

We all know how it ended, but we love what the guy did for the team/community anyway.

Let us, and more importantly Tim, have one night to celebrate it. He gave us plenty to celebrate about in eight seasons.
