Great to see some of our old Clare Jerseys in use in Uganda last week for the Nile Og Cusack’s first game.

Nile Og Cusacks GAA, based in Jjinja , Uganda was founded by Clare man John Conroy 12 months ago. The club has a strong Clare connection with volunteers from the county travelling over each summer to help coach the children. The club played and won their first game with a mix of boys and girls with different abilities against their neighbours, the Simba Wolfhounds.

The announcement of a very important initiative at Áras Chíosóg this week where the Clare G.A.A. Health & Wellbeing Committee launched the roll-out of healthy clubs signs for all clubs in Clare .
Each will be presented with a display sign where they can find a wealth of knowledge and contacts for member’s well being.
