@PACleanwater @stuartjeffery Maybe we should just accept that we are useless with "the environment" in general in the UK. Then climate and ecology and hydrology might not have to battle each other for which is most f-ed up here. A bit of fracking and we can add geology to the list of competitors.

This doesn't sound like scapegoating to me, when it says that less pollution comes from the water companies than farms. The water companies are responsible, but not exclusively. But given their profits...
