Now we certainly don’t want to hold New York 🤮 up as a model. We don’t want their tax bill or their politics. Our point was about our budget, our results. We’ve had surpluses and the rankings on goverment services continue to generate disappointing numbers.

South Carolina is #42 out of 50 for raising a family in 2026, in the bottom 10 in the country.

Every layer of law that creates a new agency, department, or procedure also creates a new place for the politician to point👉 the blaming finger.

The politician didn’t fail. The agency did. Oh, NO, the employee failed. No, the process was faulty. But the process was required by law.

And the law? That was passed years ago by people who aren’t here anymore.
